Unicorns
Exploring a new world, trying to understand
I came across a portal, to another land
Mountains that touched the sky, waterfalls and sea
Enchantment filled the air and all that surrounded me
She saw me for a moment
But did not seem to care
Turned around and galloped off
Like I was not even there
I believe in unicorns, wild and free
If only they believed in me

She saw me for a moment
A sparkle in her eye
Or did she even notice
Such a star struck fool as I
I believe in unicorns, wild and free
If only they believed in me
I believe in unicorns, and this much I've learned
When I can believe in myself, I will return
So time to pack my bags
And be on my way
Back to those enchanted lands
Where I know, she awaits
